About few months ago, I started a research for a GPU that fits my PC well. After many people recommending the same thing, I went for the ZOTAC GT 730 2GB GDDR5. It is installed in my PC and running just Awesome!
Today, I noticed some strange behaviour, and I don't know what's causing it. while playing NFS MW '12 at 1366x768-Medium settings, the Framerates would fluctuate, from 60 to 30 (and vice versa), for every 2-3 seconds. This started from today only. Previously,it ran well. The strange thing is that it happens only with NFS. In Crysis 2, 1366x768-Gamer specs, the FPS would not fluctuate and avg. would be 50, and with Dirt 2, with all setting maxed, the avg. would be 45-50. Here are the specs of my PC:
-Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz
-6 GB DDR2 RAM
-365W PSU
-HP 3032h mobo.
Please help me troubleshoot. If more info is needed, let me know. I think, The CPU's causing the issue (maybe overheating, etc.)

EDIT- I tried stressing the CPU with CPU-Z, and the usage didn't went beyond 92% (2,7 GHz).

Solution
A few thing to try/do.

-Clean the system out, make sure there's no dust buildup causing high temps or thermal throttling.
-Scan the system for viruses/malware.
-Update the GPU driver from Nvidia.
