I've had a GTX 650ti for a very long time, I'm looking to upgrade as i can't even run newer games (Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, or Black Desert Online) at a playable FPS. I'm very low on money but i could prob afford a 100-200 GPU, However, I wouldn't want to buy a crap one... I was debating on buying a GTX 1060, I just don't know if this is a good choice and/or if there is more options that could give me the same and/or better options for less money?

Looking for Advice and/or suggestions, Also Thanks for your Time.

USD, Sorry forgot to mention that

1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
(1920x1080)

Processor:
AMD Phenom II Quadcore

Motherboard:
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 LE R2.0
(Copied from System Info)

8Gbs of Ram

I don't recall the model and/or can find any information dealing with the power supply, but if it is too weak you shouldn't put that into consideration for me, I would find a way to upgrade that and/or test the Power output before changing the parts.

My Hard Drives are very old and are also in need of a change (Will use a new GPU as a reason to buy one)

The best choice for you is to get AMD's RX 480 4gb version if you can find it on a discount or smth, because it costs a bit more than 200$. It is slightly better than 1060 (which is also a great mid-range card). If you can't find rx480, go for rx470. The 470 is about 90% as fast as the 480 and can be found at 170$ price tag

Personally, i've been on the green side for a long time now, but these new GPUs from amd have a great price to "what you get" ratio. Though i am still on the nvidia/intel side when it comes to high-end performance products, but all you need right now (for that budget) is something from the upper mid-range and such card's price to performance ratings are on the amd's side. If you still prefer nvidia - 1060 3gb is the way to go, but if you're willing to do some research, you can find great options on amd as well. Good luck with the upgrade!
