My Asus Sabertooth z170 S says it can suppor DDR4 2400/ 2133.
I want to buy either a CORSAIR Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2666 mhz or 3200 mhz. Both are the same price. What will happen since it is faster than my motherboard suggest?

Solution
The board will simply downclock the memory to the rate it can handle, in most cases. In some cases, the motherboard will simply refuse to work with certain memory. Asus is pretty good about that aspect, so I don't think it will refuse to work, and it may even work at the rated speed, so you'll probably be fine.
