Hello!

I am looking for advice on whether the following PC that I own (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04291966) can fit either of the two below graphics card in terms of fitting them in this specific case/motherboard setup effectively? I believe they can, but I would like a second opinion before buying one of these.

I would not recommend even trying to fit a dual fan card into an OEM system like that. To start, you have to open your case and measure the amount of space you have, and then pray that the airflow is good enough because you can't put another fan in. Then you have to upgrade the PSU because OEM systems have the absolute minimum power required installed. Also, bear in mind that HP likes to build their computers backwards. Notice that, from the front, your access panel is on the right, not the left. This means that your GPU would have its fans facing upwards, potentially blocked by the power supply cables.

In short, you may be able to get it to fit with a new power supply and some creative cabling, but the airflow will be dismal.

From the pictures I've seen of the 700 series, it's possible with the right skills and at least 9 inches of room for the card.

Thank you for all of that information Starcruiser. I did upgrade my PSU to a 600W and I was able to get the new GPU (1050 TI) to fit without any issues. I see what you mean about the airflow, but I am hoping it works out alright as I feel that may be enough room to still have sufficient airflow. Thanks again!
