Bad ping in games, good results with speed tests

So, my problem is that whenever i start an online game my ping is really high (150-400, usually i have a ping of 30-40) and i don't know why., so I wonder if there is a problem with my Pc or my internet. My Pc is connected via ethernet and this problem started happening today.

Problems like this usually come up because of a bandwidth hog either on your segment if you are a cable internet customer or on the same central office if you are a DSL customer. Check with your ISP.
