So my room is in the basement and my modem is on the 2nd floor. I can't even connect to the wifi. Anyways I looked into power line adapters and I was wondering is there are better ones for faster internet. I don't really want one that will cut out every hour or so because I play csgo. I get around 150+ download and 30+ upload speed.

I use TP-Link TL-PA4010P-KIT AV500 Powerline Adapter Kit, from what I gather in your question, these would suite you best and up to 500Mbps you'll have no worries with speed. Decent price and too easy to set up

The newest powerline adapters that claim rates of 600 or 1200 tend to also work the best in most houses. They use the ground lead as well as the 2 power leads for signals unlike the earlier models. Of course you get nowhere near those speeds.
You want to look for devices that say they use the AV2 standard which is the latest. What is surprising is you can many times get the top rated tplink av2 devices for the same price as the older models form other vendors. If you catch them on sale there is very little difference in price between the av500 and the newer av2 models. A exact model depends on what country you live in and if you want power plug pass though the device.
