I randomly started getting extremely high RAM usage on my PC. It is occurring even with no apps open. For example, right now with 8GB RAM on my computer with only chrome open, I am using 61% memory. Before I could have multiple games open, chrome, skype, etc and have around 50-60%. I feel as if its a malware issue, but have done a malwarebytes scan, and had no threats found! Help please !
High memory Usage with No Applications Open

Open task manager and click 'Memory' on the drop menu. Then close the application. It could be malware. Also, make sure you go to 'Start-up' menu and disable applications that look like malware. If you have done that restart your PC and you may be fine. I recommend https://www.malwarebytes.com/ for malware protection. Run a 'Hyper scan' and it will help you get rid of the malware. If you don't want to pay for it you can just activate a trial.

What is your non-paged pool ram at? ctrl+alt+del > task manager > Performance > click memory and at the bottom.

okay that is not the problem then, can you go to your task manager again and under processes click memory to bring the most demanding up to the top and print screen it.
