Im thinking about upgrading my processor from a i5 4670k to an i7 4770k. If I did this would I have to reinstall windows? I would only be upgrading the processor.

Solution
No issue at all... just go into BIOS on 1st boot after switch, and rest all settings to default and go from there. I don't expect you will see any difference tho.

Now that i think of it... best to reset all to default in BIos to take off any OC BEFORE the swap... the i7 runs a bit hotter than the i5 (7C) when OC'd. Then do again after install.
