Hi there, I'm building my first gaming PC and I think I have settled on getting an RX 480 GPU. But the question remains; which specific video card should I get? I was looking into the XFX GTRs because of their fantastic cooling, but they are quite pricey. I think I want an 8GB to make it more future proof. By the way, this is for a ~$900-$1000 build utilizing an i5-6500. Aesthetics are not a major concern. I'm looking for the most bang-for-buck RX 480 on the market. Any suggestions? I am very new to the world of PC building, so any input is greatly appreciated.

Best bang for the buck may be the cheapest RX 480. My choice was the MSI gaming X because it had the highest stock speeds and best cooling. Assessed that after finding reviews where they disassembled the cards & looked inside.

Definitely get the cheapest RX480, unless it's made by Gigabyte or PowerColor. Then you might be holding a ticking time bomb, I mean potential fire hazard. Especially the PowerColor Red Devil RX480. When a manufacturer tells you that benchmarking your card might make it explode, it'd be best to avoid it.
