So I'm water cooling for the first time and I'm a bit unsure about tightening up the backplate and the water block. The rubber gasket covers some of the little pins that stick up on the back and it may be that the rubber gasket is to protect these(???) but it seems counterintuitive to put anything on top of these and the press down and possible break them...

Went ahead and tightened the backplate down and it seems okay. But I can't catch a break with this L360. Now I go to put the water cooling block on the cpu and it doesn't fit. Capacitors are in the way next to the cpu socket. I currently have them leaned over a bit and it fits, how that my thermal paste is all smeared out more than normal, but do I want my copper block leaning against three capacitors while it transfers heat??? I think not. Man...
