my current ssd mounting tray is not compatible with the L type wiring of my psu sata cable . i cant seem to find a sata cable extension where im from. the best i could find are molex to sata iv seen a lot of post cheap adapters burning and killing ssds will buying a branded one like nzxt or bitpenix help avoid those problems?

There probably wont be a difference. Unless there is some kind of warranty, which i would find highly unlikely, then its the same stuff from the same factory but with a different brand name on it.

If your SSD doesn't have the standard sata power on it then what is the connector?
