Is this laptop capable of running Sims 3 with Pets, University Life, Generations and around 25-30MBs of mods and cc?

The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM is a better deal. Same $350 price, but it has a 7th generation Core i3-7100u CPU with an integrated Intel HD 620 graphics core that is a bit more powerful. It also has a 1080p screen and backlit keyboard.

The Intel HD 620 is slightly less powerful than a nVidia 920m, but it is more powerful than the Intel HD 5500 in the 5th generation Core i3-5005u. The Sims 3 should be playable since I saw someone play the game (not exactly sure what expansions were installed) on a laptop with a 4th generation Core i5-4200u and Intel HD 4400 @ 1600x900 resolution. Intel HD .

The Sims 3 is a rather old game by now and it is not as demanding as the newer Sims 4 which you can see benchmarks in the following link for the Intel HD graphic cores that I mentioned. I would say the Intel HD 620 should be able to handle the Sims 3 at 1080p using at least medium graphic settings.
