Brand new gtx 1050 Ti fans not working!?

Hello everyone, I bought this gpu (gtx 1050 ti) 2 days ago, its from gigabyte the g1 gaming model, and since then the fans didnt move... Can someone of you please explain me what is the cause and how to fix it, I have a H81M-E33 military edition mobo, 8 gb ddr3 cruical ram, pentium g3260 and a 500 w power supply. Please help

Hello mate. I believe it's not an issue. I think all GTX 10xx series cards have i don't know how it's properly called but half-passive cooling, that means when card is in idle and temp. is low about 25 - 30 celsius fans are not working.
I was exactly the same worried while first pluged in my gtx 1070, then did some research and found out what's on.
What u can do is download app like msi afternurner or nvidia inspector and let's say manually set the fan to 100% power and see if they work ;)

Hello m8, I have the program called xtreme gaming engine that lets me customize the rgb lights and fan speeds, and ive put it on 100% and it works perfectly fine, i was just worried cause its my first "gtX", but thanks for the explanation anyways, cheers!

yes you are correct its semi passive cooling

though you are way out on the temperatures

usually 60--65c before they spin

Hello I just got a Zotac gtx 1050 ti and have the same problem with the fan. The fan dosnt spin, I have set the fan speed to 100 with difrent program like msi afterburner and firestorm but the fan dosnt speens,
can you please help me
