Just like the question above, is it really worth buying an i5 (i5-6500/3.2GHz) over an i3 (i3-6100/3.7GHz) for gaming? The CPU that I am planning to buy should last for maybe 3-5 years together with the following components:

ASUS H110M-K
GSKILL AEGIS 8GB DDR4 2400MHz
ASUS GTX1060 DUAL OC 6GB GDDR5 192BIT
TOSHIBA Q300 120GB SSD
SEAGATE 2TB 7200RPM
SEASONIC S12II-520W 80+ BRONZE

The purpose of this pc is just for gaming. Games like GTA 5, NBA 2K17, Watch Dogs 2, World Of Warcraft, Overwatch and such. Please help me decide because if i3 will just be enough I would just get an i3 and spend more on the MOBO, maybe add more RAM and other components and peripherals. Thanks in advance.

The i5 has twice the number of physical cores, and while some games do not use them, more and more games these days do. For a system that you plan to have for 5 years the i5 is definitely a better choice. A fancier motherboard will not help your gaming one bit.

The Benchmark says The i3 6100 And i5 6500 Got Near performance :/ But Thats Not My idea . Just Benchmark Says.

But Ur Ram And Ur Mobo Is Good Enough . I Dont See Any Reason for Spending More Money :)

8Gb DDR4 Is Sufficient Enough

But I Would Afford The i5 And Dont Waste My Money On ram And Mobo

Regards ;)

Not only the mobo and ram but the price difference here in my place maybe can afford not only those two but maybe some quite good looking case and maybe an IPS 60Hz monitor coz I'm coupling it my old ASUS 23" monitor and a custom wood-made casing.

Actually it would be better to get i5, because of the multi threaded games. Specially MMO's and newer games are really starting to use multi-threading, and i5 is roughly 30% faster than i3 @ multi-threading.
WoW in reality uses 4 cores and doesn't gain anything from hyper threading, yet the fps is really dependent on single core job.
