Recently purchased Corsair Venegance Pro Series 2x4gb in order to replace 2 sticks that were already in there, everything has been fine for a few days and apart from today. It cut out and won't boot, it gets caught in an endless reboot circle, i've taken out every stick, using the 4 old ones together and now they no longer work together. The new ones throw up the DRAM light, 2 of the old ones do the same, only 2 sticks fully work

My motherboard is ASUS Z97M-PLUS

Well when you say cut out, do you mean a power surge? Do you have a surge protector?

Also, I would recommend testing each slot one-by-one. It sounds tedious, but one of the slots could have been damaged. So it will go like this:

Ram stick1 in slot one > power on > good? > power down
Ram stick1 in slot two > power on > good? > power down
Ram stick1 in slot three > power on > bad > power down > make not that slot 3 could be effected
Ram stick1 in slot four> power on > good? > power down

And you would do that for all of the ram sticks. It's to test to see which stick is bad, and which slot is bad.

It was operating fine and it was as if someone turned it off by the switch, and then it got stuck in an rebooting loop. I will try that and update from then
