So i have Foxconn G41MXE and i was at few PC technicians and they tried to setup 8gb of ram on my pc or if not possible try to setup 6 gb of ram i already had 2gb of ram in my pc which is running at 1333mhz and they all failed except one friend of my cousin who owns a pc repair shop and he tried aswell but none of them tried to flash or atleast touch the BIOS so i'm stuck with 2 modules that run at 1333mhz one of them is patriot the other is apacer and i wanna upgrade do i need to flash the BIOS cause before i went to the friend of my cousin i installed a better version of BIOS i mean newer but it wasn't the newest and if i install should i install all of them one by one as they go by dates or should i install the latest one only? :) #MerryXMass

Solution
The G41 chipset models use low density memory. Most memory manufacturers no longer make memory for that model.

I suggest looking on eBay for low density 1066MHz desktop memory, not server memory.
