Whats the Difference between these 2 cards? (GTX 1060)

Hi Im buying my new GPU Now and need a cheapish but reiable Card. I have found 2 that i like the look of but not sure what the differences are and what one to go for.

NZXT Phantom 530 Full ATX case

Intel Core i7 6700k CPU

AMD R9 270 GPU Could be a R9 290 But more likely to be the 270

AsRock Z170 Extreme7+ ATX Skylake Motherboard

Noctua NH-D15 Cooler

G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB DDR4 RAM

It depends on the exact testing parameters. GPU boss really focuses a lot on raw stats.

GTX 1060 6GB will be faster at older DX11 titles and the RX480 will do better in some DX12 titles. So for right this second, the 1060 is good if you play a lot of games from 2014-2016. The RX480 might last a little longer before you need to upgrade.

The Strix has three fans, and is currently unavailable from that site.:D

What is an SLI? Also what one would you recommend if your trying to save a bit of money. Im just wondering if theres much of a Performance increase between the 2 or if there both the same

SLI just means that you can use two cards(if your MB has two slots). I don't know that you would notice the difference between the two. Go with the less expensive model and overclock it.
