Gigabyte RX 460 work with hdmi to vga?

So I'm planning to by Gigabyte RX 460 2gb however it has no analog output meaning it won't work with vga screen I think which is what I have.However will it work if I get a hdmi to vga cable?

If the card does not output an analogue signal then no, it won't work.

VGA is analog while HDMI is purely digital, therefore there are no 'passive' adapters that can work. You should be able to use an active adapter such as this

Active adapters employ DAC/ADC and DSP devices to do the conversion.

Active adapters will require power for the converter circuitry and you will need to plug it into a USB port.
