My new custom built PC doesn't turn on

My PC won't turn on... Tried everything...
Specs:

Core i5 6500
Msi gtx 1050 ti
Corsair vengeance 8gb
Corsair VS550 Psu

Tried reconnecting everything. I am so nervous this was literally all my money.

Gigabyte Ga-h110m-ds2 (similar to h110m-a) and when I start it up nothing happens. Literally no leds, no fans spinning, no sounds, no sign of life

See if a fan connected to it does spin.

Try the CMOS battery. Unplug the power, take out the battery. Then press the power button a few times, this will drain any stored or static electricity in the components, then place the battery back in along with the power cable and it should work.

It seems so. Try testing different one, or RMA-ing yours.

If paperclip test was done correctly and you saw no sign of life then you have a dead PSU I would guess.

Never mind, I didn't do it correctly. PSU works fine. So must be something not plugged in correctly or motherboard fried right?

Now try leaving only CPU and CPU fan installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected. No other wires/components.
Start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the board corresponding to the case power button (check the board's manual for their correct location). See if the CPU fan does spin.

It could be. If removing the 8 pin power cable, connecting a case fan to the board and starting it, does the case fan spin?
If not, I suggest RMA-ing the board.
