Hello My son recently got a dell

and we were going to add a 500gb SSD to it. After opening it I found I needed to get the adapter to secure it in place(no biggie), but also found due to its small size the power supply apparently doesn't have any extra power outlets. What is my best option for this. It currently has a 2 tb hdd, and I wanted to migrate his op system to the SDD, and him still have the 2 tb space. thank you for any and all Ideas

Well physically its really small. I will have to open it back up to measure it. (I have installed like 4 different power supplys in other desktops before, but never saw one this small.)

the motherboard has 2 more sata ports. I have been thinking, what if I made(or bought one from somewhere) a housing to hold an external(really internal) power supply, and feed it thru one of the rear expansion slots and plug the power cable into the ssd and it into internal sata port? would this work?
