i recently upgraded my processor from core 2 duo e8500 @3.16 Ghz to I5 2400 @3.10 Ghz but there is no difference in game FPS, is my GT 630 Gpu holding back my game performance, and is processor upgrade worth if i upgrade my GPU?
Yeah is probably your GPU if theres no change. Can you check GPU usage % when gaming? If its 100% then a CPU upgrade wont change anything (but will allow you to use a better card).
https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/benchmark-for-fun-gt-630-vs-gtx960-vs-gtx780-ti.221043/ here you can see your gpu is not a strong gaming gpu. How much are you willing to spend? What do you have for a PSU

Edit look for AMD Radeon RX 460 4 GB GDDR5 or
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB GDDR5

I would look for a better PSU - Give us a budget and we can reccommend a PSUégpu combo.

It's PCIE 2.0 probably. It only changes when not under load. That webpage just wont open for me sadly. Whtever it says when GPU is under load is the right one.
If it's 2.0 you can use a 1050Ti no probs, and you dont have to get a new PSU but it would be a very very good idea.
BTW the PSU I linked is more than you need but if you upgrade further in the future you will have ample headroom for a better gpu. Seasonic makes some of the best PSUs and that is a pretty good price.
