Hi I was wondering whats the power consumption of the ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING

Yeah 500W and a decent quality power supply is the recommendation. Cards like the Strix, which use a custom PCB and are higher clocked, do use a little more power than reference 1070 cards but it's really not much, you're looking at probably around 10 or 20 Watts more.
