https://imgur.com/KT64PAH <- my cpu, I put my heats ink on slightly off, and when I slid it to fit the latches on, this bit of thermal paste went of the side, I am in the process of getting alcohol so I can clean it off and start again, will this dp any damage?
Will a tiny bit of thermal paste coming off the side of the cpu be an issue?

The thing about most paste is it is non conductive - absolutely make sure it cannot get on the cpu connections. Looking at the picture the is a large potion of the heat spreader has no paste on it - not good for optimal cooling.
