My specs at the moment :
AMD fx 8320
msi gtx 970
970 gaming motherboard
2tb
128gb ssd
16gb hyperx RAM

I want to get a new cpu,motherboard and ddr4

Solution

Well AMD is not really known for core to performance ratio. But if you honestly want DDR4 ram, Skylake is the way to go. Some people are going to say "wait for kaby lake or ryzen" but honestly, with these two builds, you will notice only a 10-15% (if that) increase. Here are two choices:

if your going to upgrade all three of those components, i would recommend switching over to intel

im not sure what your budget is but maybe an i5 6600k CPU and match the mobo and ram around your budget :)

If you're in no hurry, why not wait to see what Ryzen has to offer before you make a decision. Worst case, you've waited and made a well informed decision before you switch. Best case, you end up with increased performance for the price, or a lower priced upgrade.
