I have an Asrock z97 Extream6. Just slapped in a BPX M.2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD. After lots of component removal, I got the board to recognize the SSD after moving the PCIe WIFI card to the second PCIe slot. It is very thoroughly jammed under my video card.

It seems there is a bit of an issue. a couple of times, I have lost internet. The card is no longer being recognized and in device manager, it is saying it doesn't have the resources to work. Is this normal? Can I fix this?

Well your NVMe needs PCIe lanes to function, which you figured out were being shared with one of your PCIE slots.

What are the rest of your components? it should have plenty of lanes left to work with.

Can you try yet another slot for your wifi card?

I have the M.2 SSD, the PCIe WIFI card, a bunch of SATA hard drives and a video card.
