Hi,
When I finished my build I decided to plug in my monitor to my GPU via hdmi cord but, the monitor's screen simply said no signal. So being the novice computer builder I am, I decided to plug it into my vga port on my motherboard. It got full connection and it worked. I checked my display adapters on device manager and saw it wasn't even being detected. So I try using my graphics card again and still no response at all. I surfed through forums to see it was in my Bios but, it says the Display initial output was set to pci-e.

I'm trying to figure out how I can get my graphics card to display. My graphics card's fans are spinning on start up but, it only spins when on high temperatures. I have tried re-seating my RAM, checking if I have the right power supply cable connected booting without the gpu and plugging it back in during safe mode.

System Specs:
Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
STORAGE
Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB WINDFORCE OC 6G Video Card
EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

OS: Windows 10 64 bit

If you would like to see more about the system just ask!

The application only detected my motherboard's graphics. I will try to re-seat it later when I get back but, thanks for your reply. If you have any more answers that could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I did what you suggested and my gpu did display on my friend's pc, so I bought the same motherboard again and replaced the old one. However it's the same problem. I haven't tried disabling my integrated graphics yet but, I did switch it from auto to enable. Could anyone please help.
