So I am buying a prebuilt gaming pc and I am deciding between two. They only have one difference which is the CPU. it is between The AMD FX-6300 3.80GHZ 6-Core or The AMD FX-4300 3.80GHZ Quad-Core The difference in price is about 60$. I would like to know if the 6-core is worth the price change?
does the six core make a huge diffrence?

FX is so slow and outdated that AMD six core loses to modern intel dual core in multithreading. Not worth it to invest more money into that money pit.

Unless you're getting at a fantastic price, waiting for AMD's Zen platform may be worth waiting a little longer for. At the very least, to bring prices down of the systems you're looking at. Like mentioned above though, modern Intel is crushing AMD at the moment with fewer cores.
