What headphones would you recommend for Gaming and Music?

What is your Budget? Would you consider getting Professional headphones? Do you want closed back or open back headphones?
Just to note 7.1 headphones, while good for direction in games, they aren't so good for Bass due to the smaller drivers.

It really vairies to be honest.
The headphones I use daily are KRK KNS8400 closed back headphones, however their initial purpose was for monitoring sound during filming sessions, but their neutral range is pretty nice on the ears. (As well as the fact I could wear them for hours without getting aches from weight)
Only problem is, because they are closed back it kinda cuts out all of the sound outside of the headphones so I sometimes end up shouting to people over skype without even realising it XD.

After a while of searching I just ordered the HyperX Cloud 2 Gaming headset for 100 dollars. I hope it's what I was looking for! Thanks for the answers!

I've had this headset for 2 days now and am loving them.
Pros-
Comfortable
7.1 Surround Dongle
Plug and Play
Noise cancelling
Good bass
Good overall build quality
Cons-
Can't hear yourself when talking
That's about it!
