my question here is im getting a new cpu and new gpu shortly and plan on putting it in the set up i currently have. However i also plan on getting a new motherboard and new case and have a almost entirely new pc. Will taking the components out and putting them in the new build put them at any risk? just a curious person here, i can always wait till i have everything if its necessary.

Solution
No problem at all. Just be careful and take precautions when moving parts from old case to new. Just be sure your parts are all compatible before buying.
There should be no ill effects like stated, being careful. So long as nothing is damaged in the process it's no different than an initial install. The same precautions apply. So long as you're careful you could change cases a half dozen times and not do any damage to the parts.

thanks for your answers so far guys, like i said i was just curious. i wasnt sure if putting them in and taking them back out just to put them on a new board and in anew case would really do anything as far as shortening life span.
