Hello Cities: Skylines players and non-players
I once played it back when it was just a month after its release on one of my friends PC and I noticed that when upgrading the roads I have to manually move any building that I built (School,University,Hospital,Police/Fire station, ETC.., ETC.., ETC..) away to another spot in order to upgrade the road
Never played it after that again
So my question is
Have been any update that fixes that issue??
or is this a game play mechanic that emulates real life buildings?

it depends if there's space to move the building.
if it's an area where moving the building means demolishing some other structure you have to move it manually
some buildings always have to be moved manually. that's game mechanics.
