should i get kingston or sandisk ssd

Solution
i bought kingston couple months ago and so far i like what i see, great write and read speeds on the cheapest model they offer atm

others like more sandisk, but i believe that kingston 5 year warranty makes me feel a bit more secure, even if it is not real, it helps me somehow :sarcastic:

that would be the 3,2, 1 rule

3 backups, 2 differnet types of media and one of the backups outside of your house

since most ssds are bought as a boot drive and store a couple files and the os, it should be easy to do

about sandforce, yes, they use that, but it seems that they age better than said before, and in most models sold by other manufacturers, it is used too

is like buy a smartphone, you get mediatek or qualcom chipsets/socs

unless you buy samsung that used qualcom or very few times their own chipset/socs

I have several Sandforce based SSD drives here for data recovery...some newer models of drives, some older. They all have the same firmware related issues and an inaccessible 256bit encrypted firmware, making recovery of the data near impossible. I stand behind my advice, avoid Sandforce controllers, they are not worth the headaches.
