I have a 128gb ssd that I put windows and a few programs on.
But it says I am using 96 gigabytes... For windows and a few programs...
When I go through the windows folder and all the folders in the ssd, it says windows is around 25 gigabytes, and Users is around 20... Everything else is around 4 or 5 gigabytes..

It doesn't add up. Literally, it doesn't add up to 96.

Is there something I am missing or is my drive acting up..?

Solution
so 8gb of ram means 8gb hiberfil.sys and possibly 8gb page file

thats 16gb

if system restore is on thats another so many gb

try windirstat its really useful to see whats using space and its free
Nope. is you.

Windows used to have a File Search function, it would list all of your files in one pane and you can sort it by size, and BAM you can see at-a-glance what's taking up the space. Looks like since W7 they took that function out, or it's buried someplace. Do you have 32G RAM? because Windows will automatically create a large swap file, as well as a 32G hibernation file by default, and BAM, that's half of your 128.
