Should i upgrade? or wait?

Hi,

This is my first thread and I am hoping to gain insight on whether I should wait a few months or upgrade my gaming pc now. I have placed my specs below.

I5 3450 3.1 Ghz Processor
Sapphire R9 280x Vapor-x Graphics Card
16 GB Corsair Ven Ram
256 GB SSD
1TB 7200 RPM HD

I plan to upgrade to an I5 6600k or an I7 6700k (Haven't decided)
GTX 1070 or 1080 (Haven't decided)
Gigabyte Z170 Ultra Gaming Motherboard
16 GB DDR4 ram.

With talks of Zen and Vega right around the corner, I am looking for advice. Should I wait? Should I pull the trigger? and also insight on I7 6700k vs I5 6600k for gaming would be helpful as well. Anyone think I would be throwing away money and losing potential performance perks by upgrading now?

Well i5 6600k And i7 6700k Both Are One Of The Most Powerfull Processors In The World With Heavily Overclock Capability

But I Think If U Can Wait . Plz Wait. U Spend A Lot Of Time With This Previous Build. A Little More Too . Intel Kabylake Sounds Massive + Also Zen Series

So If U Can Wait I Think U Will Not Regret . because If U Didnt Liked Those processors U Can Buy i5 6600k Or i7 6700k At That Time Too . But If U Afford Now, Too Hard To Afford Zen Or kabylake Series Again . Although Both Skylake Cpus Now Are Good For Gaming No Doubt In It
