Im trying to build my first pc but with the parts ive selected for my build the problem is that I am not sure whether or not the mb and cpu are compatible due to the BIOS Versions being apparently different. As on some sites I have checked it says they aren't compatible but on a forum I was reading on toms hardware it said they were. I just want to know for sure one way or another.
The mb is Asrock FM2A78 pro4plus and the cpu is the Amd black edition Athlon II *4 360K 3.7GHz quad core processor L2 4mb socket FM2+.
It says that "Some AMD A78 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaveri CPUs".
If someone actually answers this then thank you in advance as I have been a member of this website for about 1 and a half when writing this. Also if there isn't enough information please tell me because I have no idea about what is relevant and what is not.
