"Reboot and select proper boot device"

I just bought a new motherboard and processor for my new computer and when I installed in and booted it up it gave me the msg "Reboot and select proper boot device" I don't know what to do I need help.

Well that's definitely nothing to do with not having re-installed Windows, in fact it's not a Windows issue at all.

Double-check all your connections inside the case, connections to the front panel power button from the motherboard, make sure the main power cable is connected to the motherboard etc. Check everything carefully.

That's likely why it won't work. A Windows installation that works on one machine won't work on a different machine. You need to format the drive and do a clean install, or you need to prepare the OS installation that's already on the disk for the migration to a new computer.

I went to go try it and nothing even turns on, I can hear he fans spinning and the gpu fans spinning but the keyboard won't power and nothing goes to the monitor
