I've been doing a lot of research about these 2 cards and I can't find a definite answer. Just give me a solid answer of what you believe is the best card for a mid range build.

Susque....not for 300 series. Relive won't with frtc enabled. The recording bar flashes when enabled. Still no fps overlay. Wattman won't let voltage change on my 390. Aspect ratio in recording is wrong.

This is basic stuff. Happened year before when the 300 series was fairly new as well.

I love AMD and will always back them, but the NVidia experience all round is, so far, far far better in terms of drivers and software and game optimisation. Ok, I haven't used NVidia since 2004, and I'm sure there have been issues, but its hard to sell AMD on their drivers!

However, if its fine for the 400 series, then I guess all that is a moot point! I've heard issues however.

A gtx 1060 should be good with all the latest drivers and the new pascal architecture...the nvidea cards work best with direct x api while the amd cards work best with vulkan api
