I have this motherboard: MSI 760 GM-P23 FX
With this CPU currently installed: AMD Athlon II X4 640
And I have this CPU available: AMD A8 5600K
As far as I can tell the sockets are compatible, the voltage ranges are similar, but the manual for the motherboard isn't forward looking (AFAIK the A8 didn't exist when written) ... and I can't tell if they're actually compatible / interchangeable.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!
