My mobo only has two ram slots, but when i have both installed it won't boot. I switched them out to test of one was faulty but they both work fine, just not together.

Any ideas why? I haven't tried updated the bios yet, would that help?

Also my pc comes with 5 preinstalled fans, but i can only get 3 going with the cpu fan, how many fan splitters would i need?

Umm I've got a similar case here. The case came with 5 fans.

The mobo has 3 headers (inc the CPU fan header). CPU header, 2 fan headers

All of them are 4 pin headers. All I did was plug the back fan into the fan header in front of it .

And used a splitter on the CPU fan and shared it with one of the top fans.

Then used the 2nd splitter for the other top fan which shares it, with a front fan

I had to connect one of the front fans to molex. Because there are no more headers

The only thing is none of the fans are 4 pin (except the cpu fan) theyre only 3 pin. But they're not that loud anyway
