Hi, I had an Asus sabertooth z77 MoBo which recently died, I'm on a budget right know so I got the cheaper ASrock h61m vg3 as a temporary replacement.

The problem is that when I try to install the GTX680 drivers it says that there is no compatible device.

I checked for solutions and one thing I noticed is that Sandy bridges cpus don't work with PCIe 3.0 devices, but that was actually how I was running my setup before, at a slower setup I guess.

Any hints on how to make the MoBo detect the GPU? I tried updating the BIOS, reinstalling Windows, the BIOS says that the PCIe slot is the primary display device but my monitor doesnt detect a signal,...I don't know what else I can try.

Thanks in advance

Solution
Wait I misread that.

Try disabling the onboard video completely. If that doesn't solve it just pop your CMOS battery and reset your BIOS to boot again.
