Hello, I currently request assistance with my computer. I have an iMac, about 2, maybe 3 years old. Around November, I switched to to Windows OS, via Bootcamp, and It has been running on it since. About a week ago my computer started to shut down randomly and I found out my CPUs were getting too hot and were activating their safeguard shut off switch. The problem I have is that I cannot seem to fix my CPU heat problem. As I previously stated, this is a Mac, so there isn't a separate console for me to fix. It's just this giant box-like computer screen that has almost no way of opening to fix this problem. I tried to vaccum out any dust and gunk via the vents to lower the heat, but that doesn't seem to be working. Is there like a way to add on a seperate CPU fan outside of the computer or something? I don't know how to fix it and I just want to play video games.

It will certainly shorten their life, but it's better to burn out a fan than a GPU or motherboard. With an iMac, you don't have many options.
Imacs don't have great cooling, especially for gaming. I use software on my Mac Pro to control the speed of my fans. I would think that there would be similar software available for bootcamp. It will make your computer much louder, but turning the fan speed up can help a lot to keep things cooler.
