Pc cooling help

For christmas i got a intel i5 4690k and replaced my oc'd pentium g3258 and i use stock cooler i was getting 99 celcius i just ordered a new cooler why would i be gettimg those temps at that high idk if this has to do with it but some of the fan pins wouldnt push down

Redo thermal grease appliance, use 4 pin molex to 3 pin/4 pin adapter to power your CPU cooler fan if 3 pin/4 pin motherboard's headers are malfunction, get a sense of how your internal temperature, you might wanna consider use extra fans (if your case still has free mounts), make sure case's fans unobstructed from clattered wires.

Also the pentium i had to change voltage and stuff and i wass checking to see if tjose high temps were caused my over voltage but in my bios that option to change wasnt there any more
