So I have a Gigabyte GT630 and it usually ran about 60C 100% load. But now it takes 5 minutes of playing a weak title like CSGO and it goes 100C. It's a weak card and there should't so much heat.
My cable management is great. I clean my case weekly. I have reapplied thermal paste. I've cleaned out the heatsink.
I'd guess that it's a case of broken heat sensor, but at idle it goes 35C and when it reaches 100C, touching the back of the card, where the GPU is, is impossible, since the card is actually running at 100C.
