Fx 8350 only showing 4 cores

My fx 8350 is only showing a max of 4 cores in ms-config and its an 8 core 8 thread processor I tried going to the bios settings and turning it on my i couldn't figure out how to access the bios settings on my computer since it doesn't have uefi bios settings. Task manager shows only 4 cores are running so i don't know what else to do.

Microsoft has a tool available for download that will create a bootable Windows flash drive. If you're on 8 or 10, you don't even need to enter a CD key, it will reactivate itself.

I tried uninstalling and rebooting my system and it didn't change

It doesn't have an option for 8 cores the max is 4 for some reason. :/

How would i go about reinstalling my windows?

So if i reset on windows 10 will i have my old files back or do i need to do something to those files?
