Okay so I have two options at this point in time:

An Asus ROG Mars 760 for 200 AUD (This is a dual GPU 760)
Or an MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB (the red and black frozer one) for 235 AUD

Its for a client build not mine in case you thought I wanted to swap out my 1060

What should I get and MAKE IT FAST deals end soon!

Thanks,

[strike]better off with single card. crossfire/SLI is rarely better than a single card, lack off support for dual card setups amongst other things make sure of that[/strike]

oh its a single card! not quite sure then. not very familiar with those kind of cards sorry

But its 35 dollars less and the performance is what I want to know, which is better for 1080p gaming.

Its a dual GPU in one card still suffers from the disadvantages of SLI

It brings along all the possible issues from SLI, a powerful single card is better for someone that isn't computer savvy. Avoids a lot of potential issues, as in some games where SLI isn't supported, it can actually make the 760x2 run slower than a single 760. Especially since nVidia's SLI support has been lackluster for a while now.

quick search shows 3dmark firestrike graphics scores to be 12640 for the mars and 12092 for the 390 8gb but given the +/- 3% accuracy of the benchmark there isnt really much in the two
