Hi there!

I recently obtained a really old PC from my dad, but unfortunately a GPU is missing. I was thinking about buying the AMD Radeon RX 460 2G (GYGABYTE WINDFORCE OC) hoping that the PC could handle some not so much demanding games/mmo's in medium settings atleast. However, I'm not sure if this entry/mid level GPU will be compatible with the current old build I have. And if it does, is it still worth the money or would I be better off with a less expensive gpu regarding performance?

CPU: AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core
GPU: (None yet)
PSU: Codegen P-case 460W
Moba: FOXCONN A6VMX
RAM: 4GB (ddr2)

If I was to get an RX 460 for that computer I'd aim for the LOWEST clocked version i could find. It draws all its power from the pci-ex slot, so the higher the clock speed the more power it'll want from the motherboard. Since yours is very old, I'd want to minimize the demands on it. That motherboard does have a slot for the videocard, but due to the age and chipset it uses who knows how compatible it is?
