Nec Token,
Super capacitor fitted to laptops used to control power to the Cpu of the laptop.
After a few years old the Nec Token chip would loose it`s ability to hold or reach the correct charge value in Voltage and farad rating.
Causing the laptop to refuse to power up, reset while in use, or even freeze when using the laptop.
You can buy replacement Nec Token chips from Ebay.
