I have the ReDragon Perdition and it has been jumping around ever since I started using the Roccat Siru. The mouse pad claims it is for all optical and laser mice, the Perdition is a laser gaming mouse.

I didn't answer your question so i gonna put this here, i don't know about the Roccar Siru, never used it before. It could be because your DPI maybe too high.
One thing don't work is GLASS XD All jokes asides, you should use a mouse pad so you get smooth movements.

But i do recommend a big mouse pad for gaming such as shooters. like:

I use that one because it's what i needed and the size is perfect. price is right.

I would guess that it isn't the mouse pad. It sounds like the mouse sensitivity is set too high. Also the mouse acceleration will cause that.

I too have a laser mouse. Laser mice do not like shiny surfaces. For example when the mouse lens gets a little dusty(the sensitivity goes down with dust) a cotton t-shirt works better than my Razer mouse pad. Cloth with some polyester in the material (like seat pants) doesn't work at all. So I would look for a matte finish cloth surface pad.
