Gap between 24 pin power connector

My 24 pin motherboard power connector is snapped in, but there is a small gap between them still. It took forever for me to fit it in there, and looking online it seems others had issues too. Once I got it snapped in, there's still a small gap between them, is this okay?

pull it back out and make sure the +4 pins on the side of the connector are snug and level with the other 20 pins before firmly seating it in till it snaps, Once snapped it is firmly in place, no need to worry about it anymore.
