What's my bottleneck?

My specs:
4690K @ 4.7ghz
16gb ddr3
ssd
GTX 1070FE

I'm currently gaming at 1080p. I have a 1080p monitor capped at 60fps. I'm thinking of either going to 1440p or 1080p gsync. Is my hardware powerful enough?

Below is what I get playing GTA5 will all sliders turned up. Even advanced settings. I like all eye candy turned up.

yes your hardware is powerful enough for 1080P gsync/1440P. In fact the higher the resolution the less CPU you need to drive it as the GPU becomes the weaker resource. If you could go 1440P with gsync...that would be ideal. Higher frame rate with a sharper image.
