Okay so my friends planning to upgrade his cpu. He need to make sure that the psu could handle it while under full load.
He's gonna buy an i7 4790 non k series
His spec right now are :
I3 4150 3.5ghz
Ram 8gb ddr3
Msi b85g43
Gtx 960
Psu : cooler master elite v2 500W
He alrd using the psu calculator, the result show him that his psu is enough.
And from what i read on CM site, his psu is 75% effiency on load.
Is it true and his psu is sufficient right now? He is on a tight budget right now.
I know some of u probably gonna said go for i5 if hes on tight budget, but his mind is set. And he said hes gonna change the psu when he buyin a new gpu
